Effective 1st September 2019, Melaka Sentral presents Passenger Insurance Protection (P.I.P) for passengers who purchasing bus ticket(s) through Melaka Sentral ticketing channel.

Only at Melaka Sentral, we offer a comprehensive and affordable travel protection plan at RM0.40 per ticket for passengers traveling on express buses across Malaysia and Singapore. The Passenger Insurance Protection (P.I.P) covers personal accidents and loss of luggage during the scheduled journey.



EFFECTIVE 1st SEPTEMBER 2019 Melaka Sentral will offer Passenger Insurance Protection (P.I.P) up to sum insured RM25,000 per passenger for only RM0.40 per ticket  *Terms & Conditions Apply
Schedule of Benefits Per Paying Passenger

Accidental Death or Total Permanent Disablement RM25,000
 
1) Loss of both hands or both feet or sight of both eyes RM25,000
2) Loss of one hand and one foot RM25,000
3) Loss of either hand or foot and sight of one eye RM12,500
4) Loss of either hand or foot RM12,500
5) Loss of sight of one eye RM12,500
 
Medical Expenses due to Accident Max. up to RM500
Loss of Luggage :-
To provide coverage for loss or damage to Personal Luggage & Personal Effects** during a scheduled journey in the event of accident : (**shall exclude jewelry, laptop, notebook, camera, cash, IPAD, Hand/Smartphone)

P.I.P. is available as an option for customers purchasing at Melaka Sentral Ticket Counters 1-10, Ticket Vending Machines 1-20, or Melaka Sentral website www.melakasentral.com.my regardless of departure dates, time, or location. For example, a fare-paying passenger can purchase at Melaka Sentral ticket counter or Melaka Sentral website a bus ticket from TBS to Sungai Petani with or without P.I.P.

Proof of Passenger On Board
Please note that passengers are required to provide their FULL NAME as on Identification Cards or Passports to our ticketing personnel during ticket purchase at Melaka Sentral ticketing counter or Melaka Sentral online purchase to ease the process of providing proof for insurance claims and personal claims.
